When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Keanu Wiggelinghof took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Efraim Funke to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Reinhoff during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fredi Buß hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Achmed Gref showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Wagner in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmo Hinke in the 41st minute of play forced FC Grafing Stadt's goalkeeper Achmed Gref to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Grafing Stadt's Achmed Gref played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Wagner in the 43rd minute of play. Achmed Gref made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole Alpermann in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmo Hinke was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ole Alpermann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Achmed Gref. Ari Frijia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buckenhof FSV played a much better game than FC Grafing Stadt and deserved their victory. The FC Grafing Stadt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
