The supporters of Blut Royale Cologne booed when Buckenhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Winitzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herwig Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Guzikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmo Hinke, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Blut Royale Cologne's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Cosmo Hinke scored to the left of an out of position Ramon Guzikowski, making the score, 1-0. Julien Kristl kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Axel Rössel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efraim Funke was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 22 minutes, Axel Rössel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blut Royale Cologne and the Buckenhof FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efraim Funke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai Quack in the 30th minute of the match. Kai Quack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Funke having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Kai Quack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blut Royale Cologne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Quack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efraim Funke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochen Ockert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Blut Royale Cologne's Ramon Guzikowski got control of the ball when Herwig Vogel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Kai Quack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Funke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herwig Vogel to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kai Quack got free with Efraim Funke in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jochen Ockert kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herwig Vogel in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Guzikowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerold Stapelfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Kai Quack took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efraim Funke. Efraim Funke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Kristl in the 70th minute of play forced Blut Royale Cologne's goalkeeper Ramon Guzikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ole Alpermann fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buckenhof FSV's protests and gave Ole Alpermann a yellow card for diving instead. Ole Alpermann kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Blut Royale Cologne's Kai Quack got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Ole Alpermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Buckenhof FSV defense, Kai Quack kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efraim Funke. The Buckenhof FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efraim Funke should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kai Quack got free with Efraim Funke in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Winitzki hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Herwig Vogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Guzikowski having to interfere. Blut Royale Cologne's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
