But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dustin Kasik couldn't finish the play. Kupsal's Dustin Kasik got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Kaske made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heribert Kreuter in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Hölderlin-Goethe's Tobias Kaske got control of the ball when Heribert Kreuter tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
