Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kornelius Schmorell started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herwig Vogel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Kirchberger saved FC Ameisenigel from getting behind. Stefan Stallmann hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Anton Otto fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ameisenigel's protests and gave Anton Otto a yellow card for diving instead. Anton Otto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Stefan Stallmann in the 9th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Thomas Kirchberger's left hand side. Herwig Vogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Thomas Kirchberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Buckenhof FSV's Cosmo Hinke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Kirchberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute Kornelius Schmorell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Funke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cosmo Hinke came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Buckenhof FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmo Hinke couldn't finish the play. Thomas Kirchberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herwig Vogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kornelius Schmorell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Efraim Funke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kornelius Schmorell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Efraim Funke made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herwig Vogel in the 30th minute of play forced FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Ameisenigel booed when Buckenhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Stallmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efraim Funke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kornelius Schmorell in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoph Orthaus in the 38th minute of play forced Buckenhof FSV's goalkeeper Efraim Funke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Wagner kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Florian Pache came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Ameisenigel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Pache couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes, Ole Alpermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buckenhof FSV and the FC Ameisenigel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Ameisenigel booed when Buckenhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole Alpermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buckenhof FSV's goalkeeper Efraim Funke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buckenhof FSV's Efraim Funke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Buckenhof FSV from getting a goal against them. Christoph Orthaus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efraim Funke came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoph Orthaus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosmo Hinke made a kick off. Efraim Funke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kornelius Schmorell in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC Ameisenigel's goalkeeper Thomas Kirchberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herwig Vogel. Erwin Wagner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Kirchberger having to make a save. In the 67th minute, Herwig Vogel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Kirchberger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 70 minutes into the game, Cosmo Hinke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Thomas Kirchberger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Herwig Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buckenhof FSV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
