Buckenhof FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herwig Vogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Buckenhof FSV's Herwig Vogel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Malik Henning. Malik Henning yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dustin Kasik made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Cosmo Hinke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Henning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmo Hinke in the 86th minute of play forced Kupsal's goalkeeper Malik Henning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match, Heribert Kreuter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Efraim Funke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Buckenhof FSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
