Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Markus Hofmeier made the kick off which started today's match. Jakob Berrang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Ammann, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 11 played minutes SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 got a freekick which was hit by Urs Mahne. 13 minutes into the game, Wüllenrath's Davor Ammann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jakob Berrang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Markus Hofmeier made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Berrang. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 31st minute, Simon Rogowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Rogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörg Wengle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Rogowski's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's attentive Mustafa Gebuhr managed to snatch the ball when Felix Hartwig made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Rogowski made a kick off. Jörg Wengle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Saager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wüllenrath's Jens Feuereisen got a free kick in the 57th minute. Simon Rogowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Rogowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörg Wengle having to interfere. Simon Rogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens Feuereisen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Davor Ammann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jakob Berrang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Simon Rogowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörg Wengle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Simon Rogowski kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Gaston Schulze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davor Ammann struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jakob Berrang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wüllenrath. Jakob Berrang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davor Ammann in the 92nd minute of play. Urs Mahne kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Wüllenrath succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 had controlled the match.
