Eintracht Emden's Dan Degdau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitrios Blanke in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corvinus Curlisca during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eintracht Emden booed when Fischbach Bei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corvinus Curlisca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Wisgalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dan Degdau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Degdau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Wisgalla in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arik Beloch in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosmo Danczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Lausen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes in the game, Sigurd Lamprecht fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dan Degdau having to interfere. The supporters of Fischbach Bei booed when Eintracht Emden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arik Beloch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimitrios Blanke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Degdau. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Cosmo Danczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merten Boxberger in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Wisgalla got free with Dan Degdau in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fischbach Bei's Dimitrios Blanke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dan Degdau but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wisgalla was the one to do the kick off. Arik Beloch came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cosmo Danczyk could save by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Eintracht Emden's goal looked a bit too open when Sigurd Lamprecht came free, but Dan Degdau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmo Danczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Lausen in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Eintracht Emden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hellmut Becker to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Noel Bodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosmo Danczyk made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Noel Bodin sent off a good shot on target. Arik Beloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cosmo Danczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fischbach Bei's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Merten Boxberger 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Dan Degdau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigurd Lamprecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Eintracht Emden's goal looked a bit too open when Sigurd Lamprecht came free, but Dan Degdau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Thomas Wisgalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Degdau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Wisgalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Degdau having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eintracht Emden players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fischbach Bei.
