Keith Klanthe helped the player get up and apologised. Jakob Berrang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karsten Lewandowski in the 11th minute of the match. Jakob Berrang made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nicholas Daus sent off a good shot on target. When Claudius van Essen came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudius van Essen couldn't finish the play. Jakob Berrang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicholas Daus in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Merdingen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudius van Essen came free, but Werner Walser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudius van Essen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Walser having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Nicholas Daus put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jakob Berrang. Werner Walser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudius van Essen in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Roland Ulbrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werner Walser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudius van Essen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's attentive Balthasar Grebe managed to snatch the ball when Ali Ertan Krause made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Claudius van Essen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Walser having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Ali Ertan Krause mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merdingen FC and the SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Ertan Krause hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Karsten Lewandowski made the kick off in the second half. Jakob Berrang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Daus in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Claudius van Essen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Werner Walser, passed just outside the right post. Jakob Berrang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Daus in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's Claudius van Essen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Walser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karsten Lewandowski in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakob Berrang saved SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 from getting behind. Silvester Grupe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Nicholas Daus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Berrang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Berrang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Daus in the 85th minute of play. Urs Mahne kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The Merdingen FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
