Eintracht Emden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BSV07Rintheim the free kick. A collision led to Eintracht Emden getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Noel Bodin hit a great ball. Dan Degdau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Schnur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cem Retelsdorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Lausen during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BSV07Rintheim booed when Eintracht Emden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Karl Gilles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Arik Beloch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eintracht Emden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arik Beloch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Degdau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedikt Heim in the 36th minute of play. Berthold Francz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Degdau. Dan Degdau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Benedikt Heim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Degdau. Eintracht Emden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedikt Heim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedikt Heim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BSV07Rintheim's Olaf Michael Spranger pulled a muscle in his leg after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 52 minutes of play Eintracht Emden's Sebastian Lausen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Eintracht Emden getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sebastian Lausen hit a great ball. Dan Degdau made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Berthold Francz sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Nikolai Paulssen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Degdau. That made the score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. Noel Bodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Bork having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Eintracht Emden's Merten Boxberger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Linus Bork narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Eintracht Emden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Bodin to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Torger Fromme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cem Retelsdorf fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eintracht Emden's protests and gave Cem Retelsdorf a yellow card for diving instead. Cem Retelsdorf kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Arik Beloch might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Bork. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arik Beloch ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, BSV07Rintheim's goal looked a bit too open when Arik Beloch came free, but Linus Bork reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berthold Francz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dan Degdau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Alban Steffen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
