When Thorsten Fach fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beigheşm FC's protests and gave Thorsten Fach a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Thorsten Fach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's Claudius van Essen got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakob Berrang made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Noah Beinlich sent off a good shot on target. Lukasz Hellriegel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Berrang having to interfere. Benny Leibrandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudius van Essen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Samir Nauert struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jakob Berrang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beigheşm FC. Lukasz Hellriegel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Beigheşm FC booed when SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Saager didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes, Göran Hummel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beigheşm FC and the SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göran Hummel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Niko Saager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukasz Hellriegel made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Basil Böse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 and the Beigheşm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Basil Böse hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukasz Hellriegel in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Berrang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes SpVgg Mittelfranken 73 got a freekick which was hit by Kasimir Brunner. In the 68th minute of the match Camillo Konietzny shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakob Berrang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Noah Beinlich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Beigheşm FC's Benny Leibrandt got control of the ball when Niko Saager tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lukasz Hellriegel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beigheşm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukasz Hellriegel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakob Berrang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Rainer Rösch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beigheşm FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Beinlich in the 86th minute of play forced SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's goalkeeper Jakob Berrang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Rainer Rösch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95thth minute of the game Lukasz Hellriegel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SpVgg Mittelfranken 73's Jakob Berrang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
