Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benedikt Heim got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th match minute, BSV07Rintheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Gottschling to maneuver through the defense. Karsten Lewandowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Linus Bork skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Nicholas Daus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merdingen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Daus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Werner Walser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berthold Francz's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Berthold Francz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Werner Walser. A collision led to Merdingen FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Christoph Habel hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, BSV07Rintheim's Karl Gilles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benedikt Heim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Werner Walser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berthold Francz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Walser having to interfere. Karsten Lewandowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Linus Bork when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benedikt Heim scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Werner Walser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Berthold Francz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedikt Heim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Walser having to interfere. Nicholas Daus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Linus Bork made a huge save. Olaf Michael Spranger's late challenge caught a Merdingen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Michael Spranger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Kurt Radbruch sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BSV07Rintheim's Linus Bork didn't even have to move.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karsten Lewandowski made a kick off. Roland Ulbrich charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Ulbrich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Merdingen FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Ulbrich. 57 minutes into the match, BSV07Rintheim's Karl Gilles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 58th minute, Ali Ertan Krause hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Benedikt Heim managed to get in a good position for a shot. BSV07Rintheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedikt Heim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Walser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, Dirk Baumeister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merdingen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BSV07Rintheim the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Merdingen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Baumeister to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Karsten Lewandowski in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dirk Baumeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Linus Bork tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicholas Daus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Bork came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Merdingen FC's Karsten Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Karsten Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Linus Bork stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karsten Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Nikolai Paulssen's late challenge caught a Merdingen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikolai Paulssen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BSV07Rintheim's Nikolai Paulssen got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Karsten Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merdingen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karsten Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Bork breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes of play, Merdingen FC's Nicholas Daus made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Bork was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Karsten Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Bork was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Merdingen FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
