Spectators: 8180 (Terracing: 6137, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 162) BESA Dortmund's Rogelio Rocio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heiko Birkle kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Kornel Röbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Dickhoff in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Dickhoff in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kornel Röbe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd match minute, Beigheşm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Michallek to maneuver through the defense. If Rogelio Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Patschull's late challenge caught a BESA Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Patschull helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Rolf Patschull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noah Beinlich might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kornel Röbe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noah Beinlich ran back to his position shaking his head. Niko Michallek kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Niko Michallek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kornel Röbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Max Dickhoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beigheşm FC and the BESA Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Max Dickhoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomasz Iwaszko hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tomasz Iwaszko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benny Leibrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasz Iwaszko hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tomasz Iwaszko stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Beigheşm FC's defenders and the ball went out. BESA Dortmund appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Tomasz Iwaszko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Beigheşm FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Erik Schommer hit a great ball. The supporters of BESA Dortmund booed when Beigheşm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Konietzny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Iwaszko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Leibrandt having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Noah Beinlich got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kornel Röbe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd minute, Tomasz Iwaszko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Rogelio Rocio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beigheşm FC's Benny Leibrandt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BESA Dortmund were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
