Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Unterbichl's Johannes-Markus Bollen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ralf Dettinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Johannes-Markus Bollen came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Unterbichl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes-Markus Bollen couldn't finish the play. After 9 minutes, Ralf Dettinger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's Henrike Schwarz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Fabian Emig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unterbichl's Kjeld Haldenwang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Unterbichl from getting a goal against them. Sami Harms struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kjeld Haldenwang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carl Zeiss Jena 1903. Johannes-Markus Bollen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes-Markus Bollen might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrike Schwarz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes-Markus Bollen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Dettinger in the 26th minute of play forced Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's goalkeeper Henrike Schwarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Unterbichl's Johannes-Markus Bollen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrike Schwarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute Jörg Abd el Farrag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrike Schwarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesse Merkmann hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Albert Kleimeier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Unterbichl's Kjeld Haldenwang didn't even have to move. Renzo Glatzer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Harms in the 40th minute of play forced Unterbichl's goalkeeper Kjeld Haldenwang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sami Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's Kjeld Haldenwang threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peer Eggers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute Sami Harms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjeld Haldenwang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Harms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Kleimeier during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carl Zeiss Jena 1903 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Unterbichl. Jörg Abd el Farrag stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henrike Schwarz. 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, Ashley Stahlschmidt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Unterbichl's Kjeld Haldenwang. Kjeld Haldenwang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johannes-Markus Bollen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Sami Harms left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carl Zeiss Jena 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Henrike Schwarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes-Markus Bollen in the 84th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Unterbichl got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Merkmann. Albert Kleimeier, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
