Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Holger Lade made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Peer Eggers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carl Zeiss Jena 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Matthias Hastenteufel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Sommersell's goal looked a bit too open when Peer Eggers came free, but Herbert Breukelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Manuel Wahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Breukelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Schmiedel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Henrike Schwarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sommersell's Herbert Breukelmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peer Eggers in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Wilhelm Gatzke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Breukelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Sami Harms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Breukelmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Breukelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Gatzke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sommersell's Herbert Breukelmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Harms in the 26th minute of play. Herbert Breukelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Harms in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Nepomuk Vogler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Breukelmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Sommersell's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Gatzke came free, but Herbert Breukelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Gatzke struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Herbert Breukelmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carl Zeiss Jena 1903. Herbert Breukelmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peer Eggers went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Sommersell's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ashley Stahlschmidt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sommersell's Gerhard Neskovic got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Breukelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Harms in the 56th minute of play. Frank Hörsting hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Peer Eggers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Sami Harms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ashley Stahlschmidt got free with Herbert Breukelmann in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's Peer Eggers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Breukelmann. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sommersell's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Harms came free, but Herbert Breukelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Sommersell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volko Kaspereit to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sommersell's Herbert Breukelmann got control of the ball when Wilhelm Gatzke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's Wilhelm Gatzke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Herbert Breukelmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Harms in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Peer Eggers took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Herbert Breukelmann to make any attempt to save it. After 78 played minutes Carl Zeiss Jena 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Ingbert Wonnay. The crowd rose to their feet as Peer Eggers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herbert Breukelmann. That made the score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Stephan Kracht shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrike Schwarz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sommersell's Herbert Breukelmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peer Eggers in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sami Harms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Breukelmann was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Herbert Breukelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Harms in the 96th minute of play. Carl Zeiss Jena 1903's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
