Philipp Gunselmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philipp Gunselmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes-Markus Bollen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Jörg Abd el Farrag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philipp Gunselmann. Kriebitzsch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörg Abd el Farrag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Bähnert to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kriebitzsch's zone, Jörg Abd el Farrag stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp Gunselmann came out of the goal and Jörg Abd el Farrag tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philipp Gunselmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörg Abd el Farrag, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Unterbichl's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
