The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjeld Haldenwang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Eulenbis's 钱强朋 got control of the ball when Jörg Abd el Farrag tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Karsten Nehrbauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Eulenbis getting a freekick after 82 minutes play.
