Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kesten's Johannes Popp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Johannes Popp succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Jack Ramsey's late challenge caught a Dötlingen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Ramsey helped the player get up and apologised. Dötlingen FSV's Ludger Körner couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kesten. Vince Van Halssbeeck made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Max Rühle sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Popp in the 20th minute of play forced Dötlingen FSV's goalkeeper Egil Zillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Popp in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Zillen saved Dötlingen FSV from getting behind. Dötlingen FSV's Egil Zillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Popp in the 28th minute of play. When David Wager fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dötlingen FSV's protests and gave David Wager a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Dötlingen FSV got a freekick which was hit by David Wager. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Popp in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Zillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Webers hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Leif-Eric Dapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Van Halssbeeck having to interfere. Johannes Popp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egil Zillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Fiedler in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Vince Van Halssbeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Rühle in the 51st minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 53rd minute when Johannes Popp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leif-Eric Dapp during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leif-Eric Dapp hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Leif-Eric Dapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Van Halssbeeck having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 62nd minute when Leif-Eric Dapp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Egil Zillen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Sundling's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Johannes Popp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Zillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. A hard shot 71 in the game by Johannes Popp from a close distance when the talented Egil Zillen managed to make a qualified save. Dötlingen FSV's players were relieved. Vince Van Halssbeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif-Eric Dapp in the 75th minute of play. Max Rühle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Van Halssbeeck having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Dötlingen FSV's goalkeeper Egil Zillen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Popp. In the 82ndth minute of the game Johannes Popp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dötlingen FSV's Egil Zillen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Wager was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 88th match minute, Dötlingen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif-Eric Dapp to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Stellan Sundling from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Egil Zillen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With his leg Egil Zillen managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Kesten's Johannes Popp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Rühle in the 94th minute of play forced Kesten's goalkeeper Vince Van Halssbeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
