Spectators: 6101 (Terracing: 4300, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pierre Bähnert got the match started through his kick off. When Pierre Bähnert came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kriebitzsch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre Bähnert couldn't finish the play. Heinrich Furchner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Peging's Akira Pfau got a free kick in the 9th minute. Morten Trittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Bähnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, FC Peging's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Jaschke came free, but Morten Trittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Neubrandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Morten Trittin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philipp Gunselmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekkehard Störmer in the 16th minute of play. FC Peging's Morten Trittin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Jaschke in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Kriebitzsch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrahim Funk to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Jonas Trox put in a rough tackle. In the 36th match minute, FC Peging was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Trox to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Peging defense, Pierre Bähnert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Morten Trittin. The FC Peging fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morten Trittin should have stopped the shot. If Heinrich Furchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match, Ekkehard Störmer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Philipp Gunselmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Xabier in the 45th minute of play forced Kriebitzsch's goalkeeper Philipp Gunselmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paavo Petri hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54thth minute of the game Ekkehard Störmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kriebitzsch's Philipp Gunselmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kriebitzsch's Pierre Bähnert got a free kick in the 55th minute. Morten Trittin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Jaschke in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, FC Peging's goal looked a bit too open when David Dronia came free, but Morten Trittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Ibrahim Funk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ekkehard Störmer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Peging fans jumped to their feet. Philipp Gunselmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morten Trittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Neubrandt in the 71st minute. After 78 played minutes Kriebitzsch got a freekick which was hit by David Dronia. Morten Trittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Jaschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Toni Weckenmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morten Trittin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekkehard Störmer in the 90th minute of play forced Kriebitzsch's goalkeeper Philipp Gunselmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Peging's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Götz Kunstmann in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Götz Kunstmann almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kriebitzsch's Philipp Gunselmann did a great save.
