In the 10th minute Virgil Degener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes FC Ostsee 06 got a freekick which was hit by Meinolf Tremmel. In the 17th minute Hartmut Kosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Kamin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Degener in the 20th minute of the match. Stanislaw Babetzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torge Quoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Torge Quoos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stanislaw Babetzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Klemens Scharpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Hartmut Kosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Meinolf Tremmel fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ostsee 06's protests and gave Meinolf Tremmel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Ostsee 06's Meinolf Tremmel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Degener in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Kamin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgil Degener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Hartmut Kosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Kamin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Torge Quoos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ostsee 06's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torge Quoos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Udenborn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! In the 44th minute there was a penalty for FC Ostsee 06. Gianni Berosch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stanislaw Babetzki. 1-0. 49 minutes into the match, Udenborn's goalkeeper Stanislaw Babetzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meinolf Tremmel. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Hartmut Kosch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 58 minutes into the match, Udenborn's goal looked a bit too open when Torge Quoos came free, but Stanislaw Babetzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Jäger hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hartmut Kosch got free with Holger Kamin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hartmut Kosch in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Holger Kamin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Udenborn's David Wald got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Klemens Scharpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Babetzki having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Hartmut Kosch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udenborn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hartmut Kosch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ostsee 06's zone, Friedl Bruhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Kamin came out of the goal and Friedl Bruhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislaw Babetzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torge Quoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 96 played minutes Udenborn got a freekick which was hit by Friedl Bruhn. If Klemens Scharpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Ostsee 06 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Udenborn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
