Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Vince Van Halssbeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Dettinger in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Kesten got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Illgner. Unterbichl's Johannes-Markus Bollen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Stellan Sundling took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kjeld Haldenwang to make any attempt to save it. 24 minutes into the match, Kesten's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Dettinger came free, but Vince Van Halssbeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Unterbichl's Ralf Fritzsche got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Popp got free with Kjeld Haldenwang in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Illgner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kjeld Haldenwang came out and tried to block the shot, but Kurt Illgner slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Johannes Popp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kesten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Kjeld Haldenwang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Sundling in the 42nd minute of play. Axel Fiedler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kjeld Haldenwang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Illgner's late challenge caught a Unterbichl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Illgner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Unterbichl booed when Kesten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Illgner didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Johannes-Markus Bollen made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Stellan Sundling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjeld Haldenwang was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Kjeld Haldenwang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Sundling in the 63rd minute of the match. When Axel Fiedler came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Kesten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Fiedler couldn't finish the play. Kjeld Haldenwang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Popp, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Kesten's Kurt Illgner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjeld Haldenwang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Stellan Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kjeld Haldenwang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stellan Sundling took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjeld Haldenwang. Kjeld Haldenwang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Kjeld Haldenwang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Sundling in the 83rd minute of play. Ralf Fritzsche hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Kesten were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Unterbichl's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stellan Sundling took the corner. In the 98th minute, Johannes Popp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kesten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Kesten walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
