After a defensive mix-up in 1.FC Mehlesdorf's zone, Joschi Röhm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thilo Borgelt came out of the goal and Joschi Röhm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, FC Lewix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moses Neudorf to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Lewix defense, Gunther Polder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Nülle. The FC Lewix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Nülle should have stopped the shot. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1.FC Mehlesdorf! When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, FC Lewix's Shawn Hambrecht got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Thilo Borgelt. FC Lewix's Stefan Nülle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunther Polder in the 35th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Joschi Röhm made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Gunther Polder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stefan Nülle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gunther Polder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thilo Borgelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joschi Röhm, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, FC Lewix's Stefan Nülle got control of the ball when Robert Möllmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graciano Arendt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Joschi Röhm struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Thilo Borgelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lewix. Guillaume Ritschel charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillaume Ritschel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Mehlesdorf's Guillaume Ritschel got a free kick in the 75th minute. Stefan Nülle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunther Polder, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes 1.FC Mehlesdorf got a freekick which was hit by Robert Möllmann. Per Gulden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stefan Nülle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
