After 22 minutes, Ibo Gabler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FV MatsLeviMick and the FC Lewix players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of FV MatsLeviMick:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lewix:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 22 played minutes, when FC Lewix:s Eike Hain calmly waited for FV MatsLeviMick:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Shawn Hambrecht managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lewix's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Hambrecht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Mies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Joseph Schmelter notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Lewix's Stefan Nülle. Stefan Nülle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FV MatsLeviMick booed when FC Lewix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Ducke didn't get a good kick on the ball. FV MatsLeviMick's Engelbert Jendrossek got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shawn Hambrecht could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dominik Mies made a huge save. If Shawn Hambrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moses Neudorf was the one to do the kick off. Adam Feil hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. FV MatsLeviMick's Dominik Mies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Neudorf in the 88th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Stefan Nülle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FV MatsLeviMick's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
