After 4 played minutes WATTENSCHEID got a freekick which was hit by Niels Tempel. 7 minutes into the match, Christoph Kaufhold notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tuttendorf's Karol Baumbach. Karol Baumbach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Thieltges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zlatko Palupski in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, Tuttendorf's Richard Thieltges threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gavin Päzel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Richard Thieltges successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karol Baumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niels Tempel in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Tuttendorf's Gavin Päzel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Thieltges. Richard Thieltges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Karol Baumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niels Tempel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Gavin Päzel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Thieltges saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Richard Thieltges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Päzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the WATTENSCHEID defense, Zlatko Palupski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Thieltges. The WATTENSCHEID fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Thieltges should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Tuttendorf booed when WATTENSCHEID was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels Tempel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
