Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ion Jula kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Altonaer Löwen booed when Oberndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romano Humme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oberndorf's Claudio Apicella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Venekamp in the 8th minute of play. Claudio Apicella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Venekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Altonaer Löwen's Gerd-Peter Barges in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oberndorf's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Apicella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd-Peter Barges in the 15th minute of the match. Kai Venekamp charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kai Venekamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kai Venekamp hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Altonaer Löwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Bachmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match, Ion Jula got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sandor Schöpper was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Claudio Apicella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Venekamp's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Claudio Apicella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Venekamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Altonaer Löwen's Sandor Schöpper got control of the ball when Ion Jula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Jula let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 36th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Yao Rong Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Apicella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Venekamp in the 43rd minute of play. Sandor Schöpper made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ion Jula sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Oberndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd-Peter Barges came free, but Claudio Apicella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerd-Peter Barges made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oberndorf's goalkeeper Claudio Apicella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandor Schöpper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Jula's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When Kai Venekamp came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Altonaer Löwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai Venekamp couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oberndorf! Karl Stieglitz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Micha-Alexander Kosch kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Altonaer Löwen getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ronald Stammler hit a great ball. If Yao Rong Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Oberndorf's goalkeeper Claudio Apicella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Venekamp. Gerd-Peter Barges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claudio Apicella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Yao Rong Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandor Schöpper was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Oberndorf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
