Raphael Moors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Mulder having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Zwirkenberg's Nathan Vogelsänger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nathan Vogelsänger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zwirkenberg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nathan Vogelsänger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute, one of Zwirkenberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zwirkenberg. In the 25th minute Artur Heine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Mulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Heine struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Christopher Mulder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weberhäusl. The tension between the Zwirkenberg and the Weberhäusl players grew even worse after the yellow card. Weberhäusl's Quirin Rappel was substituted for Karsten Streit. The Zwirkenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Mulder should have stopped the shot. Weberhäusl's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
