Zwirkenberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Kotthaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Apicella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jannick Zyla hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Friedl Grytz might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Apicella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Friedl Grytz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Friedl Grytz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oberndorf's Claudio Apicella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Kotthaus in the 93rd minute of play. When Friedl Grytz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zwirkenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Friedl Grytz couldn't finish the play. Zwirkenberg were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oberndorf for a fine match.
