Spectators: 7613 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Rump kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen's Karl Gabler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Willig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boris Kemmerle kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Viersen FC's Rafael Rump made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafael Rump took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Egidius Pfitzner struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Anton Willig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen. Egidius Pfitzner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Willig having to interfere. After some careless play in the KFC Uerdingen defense, Rafael Rump kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis. The KFC Uerdingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis should have stopped the shot. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Viersen FC's Matthias Dunz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Rafael Rump blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis having to make a save. With a little luck, Viersen FC's Anton Willig got control of the ball when Matthias Kurbjuweit tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Dunz in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rafael Rump left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viersen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Kurbjuweit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anton Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Kurbjuweit in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, KFC Uerdingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egidius Pfitzner to maneuver through the defense. Anton Willig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Lameck, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Anton Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egidius Pfitzner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viersen FC's Anton Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Kurbjuweit in the 64th minute of play. Jona Cosini lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. KFC Uerdingen made a substitution. Eros Guttenberg replaced Karl Gabler. In the 65th minute, one of Viersen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viersen FC. Viersen FC:s Anton Willig showed great skill when he stopped Matthias Kurbjuweit:s penalty. Anton Willig came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Uerdingen's Matthias Kurbjuweit. But to his dismay, Matthias Kurbjuweit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 73rd minute, Renato Jourdan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raik Welskop fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Uerdingen's protests and gave Raik Welskop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Viersen FC. Heidrich Molling stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis. 1-6. Renato Jourdan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Anton Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Kurbjuweit in the 87th minute of the match. Anton Willig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eros Guttenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes KFC Uerdingen got a freekick which was hit by Egidius Pfitzner. 98 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen's Eros Guttenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Willig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Viersen FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
