Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Christoph Kaufhold started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, WATTENSCHEID's goal looked a bit too open when Gerd-Peter Barges came free, but Richard Thieltges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Bachmann kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to WATTENSCHEID getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eckhardt Stiehl hit a great ball. When Kai Venekamp came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Altonaer Löwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kai Venekamp couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Venekamp in the 11th minute of play forced WATTENSCHEID's goalkeeper Richard Thieltges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Gerrit Ahlers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Sandor Schöpper successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 16 minutes into the game, Altonaer Löwen's Kai Venekamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Thieltges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. WATTENSCHEID's Jan Birmes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play Altonaer Löwen's Johannes Bachmann was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Altonaer Löwen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of WATTENSCHEID:s goal. Niels Tempel placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Christoph Kaufhold put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sandor Schöpper. WATTENSCHEID's Niels Tempel pulled a muscle in his back after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. John Schröder kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Sandor Schöpper made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Christoph Kaufhold sent off a good shot on target. WATTENSCHEID were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Altonaer Löwen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Werner Bitsch took the corner. WATTENSCHEID's Werner Bitsch was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandor Schöpper in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kai Venekamp to make the kick off. 4-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Christoph Kaufhold elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Christoph Kaufhold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandor Schöpper was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Gerrit Ahlers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altonaer Löwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Venekamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th match minute, WATTENSCHEID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hartleitner to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kai Venekamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altonaer Löwen's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Venekamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Thieltges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Ronald Stammler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Thieltges. WATTENSCHEID's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Stammler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Gerrit Ahlers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altonaer Löwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit Ahlers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes, Altonaer Löwen's John Schröder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Thieltges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altonaer Löwen reached it. Kai Venekamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Hartleitner kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When Ronald Stammler came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Altonaer Löwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Stammler couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Birmes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandor Schöpper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandor Schöpper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Kaufhold, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. WATTENSCHEID's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
