In the 5th minute, Adam Oehlert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eddi Apfel came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Crotta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddi Apfel couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Bastian Biehl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uri Waack. SG Aulendorf ll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastian Biehl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roberto Breddermann made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Günter Karis. Erno Günes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günter Karis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Günter Karis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erno Günes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bastian Biehl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Crotta booed when SG Aulendorf ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Steele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crotta's Erno Günes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günter Karis in the 33rd minute of play. Uri Waack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bastian Biehl's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The SG Aulendorf ll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crotta were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Günter Karis to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Kai Marx in the 53rd minute really tested Uri Waack's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 56th minute Anton Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erno Günes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crotta's Bastian Biehl got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Crotta booed when SG Aulendorf ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esau Kamieth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Baumbach hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SG Aulendorf ll's zone, Eddi Apfel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uri Waack came out of the goal and Eddi Apfel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SG Aulendorf ll's Uri Waack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SG Aulendorf ll from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes SG Aulendorf ll got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Lamp. In the 82nd minute Anton Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erno Günes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Crotta getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luis Galen hit a great ball. Günter Karis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erno Günes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Günter Karis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Aulendorf ll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günter Karis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Günter Karis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Crotta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
