Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Sonntag started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Andrej Blomme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teichwolframsdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrej Blomme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the match, Hilbert Heise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Santarém. FC Wesseling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilbert Heise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Martin Feike kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Roman Stolle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Ducke, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Rolf Sonntag got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Gehlhaar in the 17th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Gehlhaar came free, but Afonso Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's goal looked a bit too open when Hilbert Heise came free, but Afonso Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Rolf Sonntag notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Teichwolframsdorf's Roman Stolle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Müntefering in the 38th minute of play forced Teichwolframsdorf's goalkeeper Roman Stolle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hans Müntefering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Gehlhaar came free, but Afonso Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Stolle made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Hans Müntefering sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The wind increased when Hilbert Heise made the kick off in the second half. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wesseling from getting a goal against them. Teichwolframsdorf's Roman Stolle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Pflug in the 57th minute of play. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilbert Heise in the 60th minute of play. Afonso Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Gehlhaar in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Rolf Sonntag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Stolle was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 67th match minute, Teichwolframsdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Gehlhaar to maneuver through the defense. Roman Stolle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Till Stöhr went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After 72 played minutes FC Wesseling got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Szolkowy. With a little luck, FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém got control of the ball when Norbert Gehlhaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Blomme in the 78th minute of the match. Hilbert Heise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rolf Sonntag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Stolle was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Marinus Komor kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Roman Stolle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Müntefering, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Teichwolframsdorf's Norbert Gehlhaar made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Santarém was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute of the match, Norbert Gehlhaar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Afonso Santarém was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilbert Heise in the 96th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teichwolframsdorf's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
