They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Hilbert Heise made the kick off in the second half. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wesseling from getting a goal against them. Teichwolframsdorf's Roman Stolle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Pflug in the 57th minute of play. Afonso Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Blomme in the 78th minute of the match. Hilbert Heise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rolf Sonntag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Stolle was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilbert Heise in the 96th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teichwolframsdorf's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
