Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Günter Karis kicked off to start the match. Günter Karis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Hebel having to interfere. Anton Steele kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Flensburger FC's Rainer Kugler in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SG Aulendorf ll's goalie prevented a goal. Günter Karis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Rainer Kugler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SG Aulendorf ll's Uri Waack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduard Hebel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günter Karis's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A collision led to Flensburger FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Reinhard Trenker hit a great ball. Uri Waack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frithjof Stockhausen in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Frithjof Stockhausen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uri Waack was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Breddermann during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, SG Aulendorf ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Breddermann to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Breddermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eduard Hebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Anton Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Hebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Flensburger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sascha Lamp came free, but Eduard Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Dittmar Lehmann made a precise shot to the right of Uri Waack. SG Aulendorf ll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Eduard Hebel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günter Karis's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Anton Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Hebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SG Aulendorf ll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flensburger FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rainer Kugler made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Anton Steele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Aulendorf ll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Steele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Flensburger FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ruprecht Jüdt hit a great ball. Eduard Hebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günter Karis in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günter Karis in the 59th minute of play forced Flensburger FC's goalkeeper Eduard Hebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainer Kugler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Uri Waack made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Flensburger FC's zone, Günter Karis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Hebel came out of the goal and Günter Karis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Flensburger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Karis came free, but Eduard Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Steele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Hebel having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Flensburger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torben Petri to maneuver through the defense. SG Aulendorf ll's Günter Karis got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduard Hebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Steele in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Steele in the 82nd minute of play forced Flensburger FC's goalkeeper Eduard Hebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Günter Karis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Eduard Hebel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Aulendorf ll. In the 87th match minute, SG Aulendorf ll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Steele to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Rudolf Baumbach shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduard Hebel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Günter Karis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Günter Karis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Although SG Aulendorf ll had been in control for most of the match, Flensburger FC still came away with the win.
