Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dario Raderecht took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Bornheim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Istvan Bonin to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute August Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Uhl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Miller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendelin Habel in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Wendelin Habel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Miller. The goal made the score 1-0. Domingo Sein lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ahrmühle FC! Bornheim FC's attentive Ronny Rennicke managed to snatch the ball when Pierre Bischoff made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. After having played for 27 minutes, Dario Raderecht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahrmühle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Raderecht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Miller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Rennicke in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Ahrmühle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Mütze to maneuver through the defense. Ahrmühle FC's Dario Raderecht got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Jan Mütze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Uhl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Raderecht in the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bornheim FC defense, Jan Mütze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Uhl. The Bornheim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Uhl should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Ahrmühle FC booed when Bornheim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolfgang Bender didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bornheim FC's Benjamin Uhl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bornheim FC from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Uhl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Glaser in the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bornheim FC's Benjamin Uhl got control of the ball when Jan Mütze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Mütze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benjamin Uhl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Uhl stood somewhat misplaced when Jan Mütze came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Benjamin Uhl came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ahrmühle FC's Dario Raderecht. But to his dismay, Dario Raderecht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over Ahrmühle FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bornheim FC throughout the match.
