In the 5th minute SV Rittsteig were awarded a corner. Ron Frenzle went to the cornerflag to take it. SV Rittsteig's Ron Frenzle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Markus Vollmann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Otto Baum scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Mann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olaf Wegl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Mann having to interfere. If Simon Ebbing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Willibald Gabler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SV Rittsteig's Hans Hangl got a free kick in the 25th minute. Sebastian Mann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willibald Gabler in the 31st minute of play. Shawn Klenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malte Knöchel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Wegl, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to SV Rittsteig getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hans Hangl hit a great ball. Olaf Wegl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Mann having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Wegl made a kick off. Hans Hangl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Mann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willibald Gabler went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Willibald Gabler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Mann having to make a save. Otto Baum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Mann having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match Joseph Andresen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Mann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Willibald Gabler might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Mann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willibald Gabler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84thth minute of the game Olaf Wegl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Rittsteig's Sebastian Mann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Otto Baum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Mann having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, SV Rittsteig's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Wegl came free, but Sebastian Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of SV Rittsteig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hülkenbüll FC:s goal. In the 99th minute of the game, Hülkenbüll FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Hülkenbüll FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
