After having played for 5 minutes, Shawn Klenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Rittsteig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Klenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemo Raimann hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Lampard got free with Sebastian Mann in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 played minutes Nemo Raimann rounded SV Rittsteig's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 45th minute, Shawn Klenk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in SV Rittsteig's zone, Nemo Raimann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Mann came out of the goal and Nemo Raimann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frank Lampard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frank Lampard came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the VIEVF Münchenbernsdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Lampard couldn't finish the play. SV Rittsteig's Shawn Klenk has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 91st minute. VIEVF Münchenbernsdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemo Raimann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes SV Rittsteig got a freekick which was hit by Hans Hangl. SV Rittsteig were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing VIEVF Münchenbernsdorf to leave the ground with a draw.
