In the 14thth minute of the game Bertram Becher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hagen Wiedmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Wegl came free, but Bolo Anfahrt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bolo Anfahrt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Wegl in the 25th minute of play. Otto Baum charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Baum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Otto Baum kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bertram Becher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolo Anfahrt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Wegl in the 33rd minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Berthold Marcian. In the 39th minute Damian Ditsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Anfahrt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Hagen Wiedmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Berthold Marcian got a free kick in the 41st minute. Hülkenbüll FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 44th minute of the game, when Damian Ditsche after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Real Madrid's goal. Damian Ditsche was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When Hagen Wiedmann fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Hagen Wiedmann a yellow card for diving instead. Hagen Wiedmann hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olaf Wegl to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolo Anfahrt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Baum, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Baum came free, but Bolo Anfahrt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Schönberger struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Markus Vollmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. Berthold Marcian lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Real Madrid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hülkenbüll FC:s goal. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Hülkenbüll FC. Damian Ditsche stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bolo Anfahrt. 1-0. In the 71st minute, Hülkenbüll FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hagen Wiedmann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Hülkenbüll FC from getting a goal against them. Bertram Becher's late challenge caught a Hülkenbüll FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertram Becher helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Becher. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Hülkenbüll FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willibald Gabler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hagen Wiedmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Bertram Becher notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann. Markus Vollmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 minutes of play, Real Madrid's Bertram Becher made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Vollmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hagen Wiedmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmann having to interfere. If Bertram Becher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Madrid had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
