Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Birk Kreuzer kicked off to start the match. Uwe Brünen's late challenge caught a Grüna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uwe Brünen helped the player get up and apologised. Uwe Brünen kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Grüna's Gaston Volkmann tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Birk Kreuzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Ackermann might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alois Thielemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Ackermann ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Schultz in the 14th minute of play forced Grüna's goalkeeper Gunnar Tiggelkamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Grüna's Maurice Riek-Nagy got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Birk Kreuzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcello Merz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Wannemaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alois Thielemann having to interfere. Pekko Romer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes of play, Loquard's Marcello Merz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Tiggelkamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Tobias Krughöfer came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Loquard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Krughöfer couldn't finish the play.

In the 51st minute, Tobias Krughöfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loquard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Hans Ackermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alois Thielemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Birk Kreuzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Loquard's Ralph Schultz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Birk Kreuzer might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alois Thielemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birk Kreuzer ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Wannemaker struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alois Thielemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grüna. Gunnar Tiggelkamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pekko Romer in the 71st minute of play. Birk Kreuzer might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alois Thielemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birk Kreuzer ran back to his position shaking his head. Hans Ackermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Birk Kreuzer sped through Loquard's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alois Thielemann. After 84 played minutes Grüna got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Volkmann. A hard shot by Pekko Romer from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Gunnar Tiggelkamp's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Birk Kreuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alois Thielemann having to interfere. Ralph Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Loquard walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
