The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubbo Marschner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mark Zimmermann fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodenhof FSV's protests and gave Mark Zimmermann a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germania Haithabu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rodenhof FSV.
