The Bahnhof fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Real Madrid's Robin Gürtler got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoltan Djir made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bertram Becher sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Theodor Schraier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahnhof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid the free kick. In the 77th minute, Theodor Schraier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Madrid's Jaap Leyh got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lasse Schönberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Zoltan Djir made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Schraier came free, but Bolo Anfahrt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
