A collision led to Hülkenbüll FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Simon Ebbing hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gero Butzbach in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Vollmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gero Butzbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstantin Cronen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmann having to interfere. A collision led to Hülkenbüll FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Simon Ebbing hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gero Butzbach to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Steffen Lott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mödrath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hülkenbüll FC the free kick. After 53 played minutes Mödrath got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Lott. 54 minutes into the match, Hülkenbüll FC's Damian Ditsche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 56 minutes in the game, Gero Butzbach fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Markus Vollmann having to interfere. A collision led to Hülkenbüll FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Otto Baum hit a great ball. Markus Vollmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gero Butzbach's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Hülkenbüll FC's Otto Baum got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Gero Butzbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otto Baum kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gero Butzbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmann having to interfere. Markus Löwenstein hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ödön Dieler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Wegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Konstantin Cronen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mödrath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Cronen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Gero Butzbach rounded Hülkenbüll FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2.
