Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Germania Haithabu's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Cronen came free, but Siegmund Buhrmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ödön Dieler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubbo Marschner in the 39th minute. Bernd Holz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ödön Dieler having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubbo Marschner in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ödön Dieler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ödön Dieler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubbo Marschner in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Mödrath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Weyerich to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arjen Brockmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germania Haithabu's supporters rose to their feet, but Arjen Brockmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ödön Dieler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steffen Lott during the 47th minute. The Mödrath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ödön Dieler should have stopped the shot. If Ubbo Marschner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
