Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Morgan Korth took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Löhnen defense, Vlad Steiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Maurer. The Löhnen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Maurer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Schneider in the 18th minute of play forced Löhnen's goalkeeper Nils Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Löhnen's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Steiner came free, but Nils Maurer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jörg Kosack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitri Inger in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olav Hellwig saved Ellerau from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Ellerau's goalkeeper Olav Hellwig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitri Inger. Tommy Schneider scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Maurer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Löhnen's Ingo Wenzel got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Löhnen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ellerau were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitri Inger made a kick off. Dimitri Inger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olav Hellwig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Jörg Kosack notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ellerau's Olav Hellwig. Olav Hellwig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Maurer having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Löhnen's goalkeeper Nils Maurer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jörg Kosack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Löhnen's Nils Maurer got control of the ball when Tommy Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olav Hellwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodor Altesleben, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute, Quentin Gestrich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellerau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. If Morgan Korth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ellerau walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
