Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the match, BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND's goalkeeper Anton Otten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Gingold. After 11 played minutes BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Trachsel. Anton Otten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Gingold in the 13th minute of play. If Efraim Schaaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efraim Schaaf got free with Anton Otten in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Streich in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Altendorf saved Dageförde FC from getting behind. Anton Otten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Gingold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND booed when Dageförde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolaus Terwester didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dageförde FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dominik Hanisch hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Dominik Hanisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Altendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Glaser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Gingold in the 37th minute of play forced BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND's goalkeeper Anton Otten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Hanisch kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Alex Glaser came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Glaser couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Gingold came free, but Anton Otten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Gingold was the one to do the kick off. Kurt-Jürgen Vüllings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Karsten Altendorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karsten Altendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Glaser, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Anton Otten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraim Schaaf in the 60th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Dageförde FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND's Josef Streich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karsten Altendorf. That made the score 1-1 after 70 minutes of play. In the 72nd match minute, Dageförde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Hanisch to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes, Alex Glaser made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dageförde FC's Karsten Altendorf tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Anton Otten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Gingold in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Dageförde FC's Efraim Schaaf made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Otten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Glaser's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Karsten Altendorf skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anton Otten came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Dageförde FC's Matthias Gingold. But to his dismay, Matthias Gingold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Dominik Hanisch kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alex Glasers short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Karsten Altendorf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot by Jonas Aumann from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Karsten Altendorf's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Anton Otten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Gingold's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dageförde FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while BVB BORUSSIA DORTMUND had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
