In the 5th play minute Wolf-Dieter Pick came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobias Warlies. 1-0. Manfred Lederer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franz-Peter Trachsel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. When Felix Stalleicher came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Neue Düne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Stalleicher couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Felix Stalleicher fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tobias Warlies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Stalleicher in the 24th minute of the match. Tobias Warlies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Stalleicher in the 27th minute of play. Wolf-Dieter Pick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Warlies when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Raphael Kompa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC HARZ THALE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 44th minute Felix Stalleicher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Warlies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes in the game, Felix Stalleicher fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tobias Warlies having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfred Lederer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Paul Sausmikat made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Warlies. FC HARZ THALE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 59 minutes, Raphael Kompa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC HARZ THALE and the Neue Düne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Neue Düne FC booed when FC HARZ THALE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Kompa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz-Peter Trachsel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfred Lederer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 85 minute of play. Tobias Warlies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Junginger in the 93rd minute of play. After 98 played minutes FC HARZ THALE got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Kompa. Neue Düne FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
