But to his dismay, Erling Askstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 12th minute Ratekau were awarded a corner. Stuart Vöge went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC ReherPuls's goalie and right to Edgar Nork. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC ReherPuls's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wolfram Schraier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Askstedt in the 14th minute. In the 16th play minute Samir Sattler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wolfram Schraier. 3-0. A collision led to Ratekau getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Stuart Vöge hit a great ball. Lauritz Gröbner took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wolfram Schraier. Wolfram Schraier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 26th minute, Lauritz Gröbner made a precise shot to the right of Wolfram Schraier. FC ReherPuls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Lauritz Gröbner took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wolfram Schraier. Wolfram Schraier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 32 played minutes FC ReherPuls got a freekick which was hit by Toralf Zeiss. In the 36th minute Boruc Makowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfram Schraier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes FC ReherPuls got a freekick which was hit by Ekkehard Stötzer. 39 minutes into the match, Lauritz Gröbner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wolfram Schraier. FC ReherPuls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauritz Gröbner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 42 minutes into the game, Davon Gröger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ReherPuls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ratekau the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Davon Gröger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boruc Makowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boruc Makowski was the one to do the kick off. FC ReherPuls's Wolfram Schraier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauritz Gröbner in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ratekau's Max Åström got control of the ball when Béla Lämmel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wolfram Schraier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Askstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Béla Lämmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes in the game Ringo Mann did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Béla Lämmel. After some careless play in the FC ReherPuls defense, Lauritz Gröbner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolfram Schraier. The FC ReherPuls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wolfram Schraier should have stopped the shot. Wolfram Schraier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wolfram Schraier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Vöge in the 77th minute of the match. Wolfram Schraier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauritz Gröbner in the 79th minute of play. Wulf-Dieter Flaht's late challenge caught a Ratekau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wulf-Dieter Flaht helped the player get up and apologised. Wulf-Dieter Flaht kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ron Hütt charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ron Hütt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Erling Askstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wolfram Schraier was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0.
