When Béla Lämmel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ReherPuls's protests and gave Béla Lämmel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, FC ReherPuls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Béla Lämmel to maneuver through the defense. Béla Lämmel kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Wolfram Schraier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Walcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Bartolomeo Kruber put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wolfram Schraier. After having played for 15 minutes, Ken Wunderlich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Ruhpolding's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Wunderlich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ReherPuls's Béla Lämmel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frans Pässler. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Oscar Walcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfram Schraier having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, FC ReherPuls's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeo Kruber came free, but Wolfram Schraier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeo Kruber in the 23rd minute of play forced FC ReherPuls's goalkeeper Wolfram Schraier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, FC ReherPuls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Kümmel to maneuver through the defense. When Oscar Walcher came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SV Ruhpolding fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Walcher couldn't finish the play. Richard Fettinger hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bartolomeo Kruber scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wolfram Schraier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SV Ruhpolding's Ken Wunderlich got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to FC ReherPuls getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Magnus Kümmel hit a great ball. FC ReherPuls's Wolfram Schraier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Walcher in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, SV Ruhpolding's Bartolomeo Kruber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wolfram Schraier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Wolfram Schraier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Lillge in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, FC ReherPuls's Béla Lämmel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frans Pässler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, FC ReherPuls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mesut Leutheusser to maneuver through the defense. Wolfram Schraier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeo Kruber in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC ReherPuls defense, Oscar Walcher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolfram Schraier. The FC ReherPuls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wolfram Schraier should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Walcher to make the kick off. Oscar Walcher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wolfram Schraier made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Lillge got free with Wolfram Schraier in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wolfram Schraier made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Oscar Walcher sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the FC ReherPuls defense, Ken Wunderlich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolfram Schraier. The FC ReherPuls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wolfram Schraier should have stopped the shot. Wolfram Schraier came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Ruhpolding's Oscar Walcher. But to his dismay, Oscar Walcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. If Bartolomeo Kruber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, FC ReherPuls's goalkeeper Wolfram Schraier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Walcher. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Bartolomeo Kruber took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Wolfram Schraier to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute SV Ruhpolding were awarded a corner. Oscar Walcher went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 79th minute, FC ReherPuls's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oscar Walcher fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgar Ruge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Wolfram Schraier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, FC ReherPuls's Wolfram Schraier got control of the ball when Oscar Walcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, SV Ruhpolding's Ken Wunderlich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wolfram Schraier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. SV Ruhpolding's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
