After 7 minutes, Boris Fackler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Outer Space FC and the KFC Uerdingen 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boris Fackler kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Simon Bannenbusch made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Outer Space FC's Rudolf Dörr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Bannenbusch in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Dörr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rudolf Dörr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Bannenbusch's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The KFC Uerdingen 05 fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes, Simon Bannenbusch made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Outer Space FC's Rudolf Dörr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Simon Bannenbusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Dörr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Bannenbusch's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Outer Space FC's Fred Garbe got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Outer Space FC's Josua Kuhles in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Uerdingen 05's goalie prevented a goal. Simon Bannenbusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rudolf Dörr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Simon Bannenbusch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Dörr was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Outer Space FC's zone, Tom Eberhardt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Dörr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Dörr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Bannenbusch, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Fackler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Fabrizio Nowak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Uerdingen 05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Nowak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd minute, Gencer Hisarcık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Eberhardt struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rudolf Dörr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Uerdingen 05. A hard shot 56 in the game by Simon Bannenbusch from a close distance when the talented Rudolf Dörr managed to make a qualified save. Outer Space FC's players were relieved. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Outer Space FC's goalkeeper Rudolf Dörr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Hisarcık in the 58th minute of play forced Outer Space FC's goalkeeper Rudolf Dörr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Tom Eberhardt got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tom Eberhardt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Dörr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Simon Bannenbusch notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Outer Space FC's Rudolf Dörr. Rudolf Dörr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tom Eberhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Bannenbusch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Uerdingen 05 played a much better game than Outer Space FC and deserved their victory. The Outer Space FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
