FC Selb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that King Caniggia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 83 played minutes, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Burkhard Seelert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Issa Casillas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Issa Casillas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Selb's zone, Bert Ringelnatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Issa Casillas came out of the goal and Bert Ringelnatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Issa Casillas was a little too slow when Werner Barz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-3. The FC Selb fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
