Spectators: 8475 (Terracing: 6357, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Wim Hägele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Efraim Behloch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wayyss FSV and the FC Selb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wayyss FSV's Efraim Behloch got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Riessle got free with Domenico Überschär in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Harald Brachvogel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domenico Überschär was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Domenico Überschär didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Riessle went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Nicolai Müller came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Wayyss FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolai Müller couldn't finish the play. Harald Brachvogel, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wayyss FSV's Domenico Überschär played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Hägele in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Wim Hägele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Domenico Überschär was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Wayyss FSV's goalkeeper Domenico Überschär had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Hägele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efraim Behloch in the 31st minute of play forced FC Selb's goalkeeper Issa Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Überschär showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Brachvogel in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Hägele in the 38th minute of play forced Wayyss FSV's goalkeeper Domenico Überschär to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Issa Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolai Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Nicolai Müller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Issa Casillas was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolai Müller in the 41st minute of play. When Nicolai Müller fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wayyss FSV's protests and gave Nicolai Müller a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolai Müller hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Wayyss FSV's Domenico Überschär played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Mandel in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Wayyss FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Hägele came free, but Domenico Überschär reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bosse Grajewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Selb were furious when Harald Brachvogel was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Selb's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tjark Reichelt was slow to take the kick. During this time Wayyss FSV's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tjark Reichelt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Issa Casillas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wim Hägele scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Überschär, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, Wayyss FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Meng to maneuver through the defense. FC Selb's Issa Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bosse Grajewski in the 76th minute of play. Domenico Überschär showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Hägele in the 81st minute of the match. Domenico Überschär made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Hägele in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wayyss FSV defense, Wim Hägele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenico Überschär. The Wayyss FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Überschär should have stopped the shot. Bosse Grajewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wim Hägele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Überschär having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Roberto Hauke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wayyss FSV and the FC Selb players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Selb had won after a very even match.
