The Reipertshofen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Teupel should have stopped the shot. Outer Space FC's Rudolf Dörr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Outer Space FC from getting a goal against them. Fred Teupel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Fackler in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Justin Schaffert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Teupel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Manolo Hofmann hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Siegfried Rehmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Outer Space FC's Hemmo Bielstein got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Reipertshofen FC booed when Outer Space FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Fackler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Dörr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siegfried Rehmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Fackler hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Siegfried Rehmer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rudolf Dörr. Siegfried Rehmer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siegfried Rehmer to make the kick off. Siegfried Rehmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artemio Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rudolf Dörr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Outer Space FC's Josua Kuhles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fred Teupel. Fred Teupel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 61st match minute, Reipertshofen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernot Wilhelm to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Reipertshofen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Schaffert came free, but Fred Teupel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Outer Space FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Hofmann to maneuver through the defense. Outer Space FC's Rudolf Dörr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siegfried Rehmer in the 67th minute of play. Outer Space FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Outer Space FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Outer Space FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
