In the 13thth minute of the game Ireno Sturmheit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altenmittlau's Alex Cauli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Cauli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Burghelea in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Altenmittlau getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Laurenz Schur hit a great ball. Alex Cauli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ireno Sturmheit, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Klaus Höfken in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Falkenhide F.C's Torge Sporer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Burghelea in the 40th minute of play forced Altenmittlau's goalkeeper Alex Cauli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Ireno Sturmheit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Cauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karsten Helmer to make the kick off. Laurențiu Burghelea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Cauli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurențiu Burghelea in the 51st minute. Laurențiu Burghelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alex Cauli made a huge save. Ulrich Fiedeler's late challenge caught a Falkenhide F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrich Fiedeler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Ulrich Fiedeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ireno Sturmheit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Helmer in the 66th minute of play forced Falkenhide F.C's goalkeeper Mattia Perin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Falkenhide F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrich Fiedeler came free, but Mattia Perin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Burghelea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Cauli having to make a save. Alex Cauli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Manske, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Ireno Sturmheit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Cauli was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Altenmittlau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Falkenhide F.C:s goal. In the 87th minute of the match Falkenhide F.C got a corner. Altenmittlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Bodden ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Geno Boykov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Altenmittlau getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Klaus Höfken hit a great ball. Ireno Sturmheit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Cauli came out and tried to block the shot, but Ireno Sturmheit slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. In the 99th match minute, Altenmittlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Göger to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Falkenhide F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Altenmittlau throughout the match.
